MUSIC lovers are set for a treat with a special concert at St James' Church in Chipping Campden on Saturday.
St Michael's Singers from Coventry Cathedral, recognised as one of the finest and most versatile choirs in the Midlands, will be among the highlights of an evening of music for jubilee occasions. Also performing will be soloists James Eager and Lucy Rhodes, BBC2's choristers of the year 2003.
The programme features works by Purcell, Britten, Gabrieli, Walton and Parry and will be conducted by Paul Leddington Wright, a former director of music at Coventry Cathedral. Tickets for the Jubilate concert, which starts at 7.30pm, are available from Campden Tourist Office on 01386 841206.
