MUSIC-LOVERS will be striking a chord at a family event set to hit Wyre Forest this weekend.
The Bewdley Choral Society presents its annual spring concert on Saturday at the town's St Anne's Church.
The concert, which will feature music by Schubert, Haydn, Mozart, Britten, and Mendelssohn, will include performances from The Volante Strings, directed by Angela Richey. Bewdley Choral Society's Mary Wear, Bill Wear and Janet Kirk rehearsing for their concert at St Anne's Church.
It will be musical director and string specialist Rachel Greenwood's second spring concert with the society since she joined the group last year.
She said: "I think the highlight of the evening would be Schubert's Mass in G because it is a beautiful and charming number which people would very much enjoy.
"The preparation is going really well at the moment. We have got some new members and everybody is just really keen."
Tickets for the show, which will start at 7.30pm, are available from St Anne's Church Centre and Bewdley Books.
