EVESHAM High School girls tasted success on the hockey pitch but the boys proved no match for their latest opponents.
Louise Rose gave the under-16s the lead against Bowbrook School and it was soon 2-0 when the same player struck again.
A strike from a short corner by Lorna Beddis made it 3-0 in the second half and an accurate strike from Jessica Wilcox completed a fine win close to the whistle.
The school's under-16 boys' second string found a Warwick side containing five Midlands representatives a stiff test.
Evesham started well but trailed 2-0 at half-time despite goalkeeper Matt Cook producing a series of fine saves.
Green, Bailey and Whittaker worked hard at the back to repel frequent Warwick raids but far more goals were conceded despite a gallant rearguard action.
