PEOPLE eager to have their treasures valued by Worcester's own antiques experts packed out the Guildhall last night.
Henry Sandon, the former curator of the Dyson Perrins Museum at Royal Worcester Porcelain and his son Jon - both presenters on the BBC's Antiques Roadshow - were on hand to offer advice and valuations on a wide range of items all in the name of charity.
Two professional valuers from the auction house Bonhams were also at the event.
They all gave their time for free and proceeds will be donated to the nominated charities of Worcester's Mayor, Councillor Robert Rowden, Worcestershire Association for the Blind and St Richard's Hospice.
Members of the public paid £5 to have up to three items valued, after which each additional item cost £1 a time.
