A HORSE-drawn hearse led a funeral procession through the streets of Worcester yesterday.
The funeral of Anthony Davidson was held at St George's Roman Catholic Church, in Sansome Place, at 2pm. He was 61 years old.
After the hour-long service the procession returned to the family home in Broadheath, and laid Mr Davidson to rest in the grounds of his beloved Temple Laugherne House.
Family and friends accompanied his widow, Lesley, and children at the service, and many joined them as they later celebrated his life.
Mr Davidson devoted his last 21 years to helping others, as owner of The Lawns Nursing Home, in Main Road, Kempsey, and part-owner of Shrubbery Nursing Home, Worcester.
