CLAY pigeons will soon start flying, and exploding, in the skies near Upton.
The weekend season begins tomorrow (Saturday) at South Worcester Shooting Ground at Pigeon House Farm.
The shooting ground opened in 1987 and is situated on open farmland close to Upton.
Over the years, owner John Clements has developed a variety of clay targets, from the high pheasant to the elusive bolting rabbit.
Mr Clements said the shooting ground, which used to operate as a dairy farm, played host to visitors from all walks of life.
"We get absolutely every class of society, from MPs to schoolchildren and everyone in between," he said. "It's quite addictive."
