A COFFEE morning will be held by members of Upton Royal British Legion to say thank you to the town's Army Cadets.
The Cadets raised £1,450 of the £6,500 collected by the Legion during last year's Poppy Appeal.
Now, to show their appreciation, the proceeds from the coffee morning at the Memorial Hall tomorrow (Saturday), from 10am to noon, will go to the Cadets.
British Legion chairman Betty Williams said: "With all the problem's we've had in Upton with youths causing trouble, these Army Cadets are the good side."
Last month, the Army Cadets were presented with a British Legion award at Worcester Territorial Army Centre, in recognition of their fundraising achievements.
