I READ with interest Tom Wells observations and criticism regarding the pace of road repairs (Malvern Gazette, February 28).
While I could not agree more I can offer a solution. It will have been noticed by Malvern inhabitants that changes to road speeds are very much in effect at present, with approaches to islands and junctions changing into a bright red sea of paint.
As this is the only form of resurfacing that seems to be in effect let us all apply for road restrictions and traffic calming in our respective roads. We may have to crawl about in our vehicles but at least the road surface will be good and the potholes will a thing of the past.
