HEREFORD golfer David Park was well up the leaderboard in Doha today as action resumed at the Qatar Masters.
A sandstorm curtailed play yesterday, leaving half the field with the prospect of playing 36 holes today.
But Park was already halfway through his first round before the interruption, and played out the remaining nine holes to end with a two-under-par 70 for a share of 12th place.
Droitwich's John Bickerton faces two full rounds today, however, and shared 65th place after an opening round of 73, not helped by two double bogeys.
England's David Howell was the early leader after shooting a six-under-par 66, two shots clear of three players including Ryder Cup hero Paul McGinley.
