ONE of Europe's most successful traditional jazz bandleaders is coming to Tewkesbury.
Chris Barber has been fine-tuning the structure of his band for the past 45 years and now presents The Big Chris Barber Band, an 11-piece ensemble, which performs classic jazz, ragtime and rhythm and blues.
Trombone player Barber and the rest of his band will be playing at the Roses Theatre at 7.30pm on Sunday. Tickets cost £15, concessions £14.
Compass Theatre Company will present A Winter's Tale at the Roses. Shakespeare's story of reconciliation and forgiveness will be performed on Wednesday and Thursday at 7.30pm. Tickets range from £10.50 to £7.
