HOW many people who demonstrated against war with Iraq have experienced war?" said F C Claxton (You Say, Monday, March 3).
Quite a large majority, I would imagine, judging by the age group that I saw on TV.
Having hacked my way through the Malayan jungle looking for terrorists many years ago, I'm also against the bombing of innocent people that this war would bring about.
The very politicians who stand up making stirring speeches to incite wars are the ones who make sure that they are out of sight when the action takes place. F C Claxton goes on to say: "Let the Government make the decision, that's their job".
Well, if he thinks like that, good luck to him.
But God help the rest of us.
