An impressive display from Kidderminster Harriers, particularly from their defence, guided them to an eye-catching 2-0 win at fellow play-off chasers Cambridge United.
Harriers are still just outside the play-off spot but they are looking strong contenders and they have looked sharp on their travels all season.
Second half goals from John Melligan and Wes Morgan did the damage as Ian Britton's side chalked up their seventh away win of the league season.
Keeper Fraser Digby's involvement was kept to a minimum against the Cambridge side who have been full of goals all season but not today.
Big centre back Morgan was a rock at the back alongside the equally impressive Dion Scott, while full-backs Adie Smith and Craig Hinton also did their job superbly.
This was Harriers second victory and clean sheet in a row and they have now completed doubles over Exeter, Southend and today's opponent Cambridge.
The first half saw little action of note with the visitors picking up two bookings for Sean Flynn and Smith.
But the game burst into life on 62 minutes as the visitors had seized control and young striker Andy Bishop was only denied by the body of advancing keeper Shaun Marshall.
Four minutes later Harriers were not to be denied when Melligan looped a header over the keeper for his 11th goal of the season.
They secured three vital points in their play-off quest when Morgan, on-loan from Nottingham Forest, headed Flynn's left-wing free-kick over the keeper from six yards.
It was a great afternoon for Harriers and they now need to continue in the same vein when rivals Shrewsbury visit Aggborough on Tuesday night.
