WITH spring immediately around the corner, it seems such a pity that all the daffodils that are ready to bloom at the south end of Pitchcroft are covered in rubbish. It would be so nice if this could be cleared up.
I regularly walk to work down the Hylton Road, over the Sabrina Bridge and around the south end of Pitchcroft. Unfortunately, you can follow the rubbish from opposite the Crown & Anchor, Hylton Road to the end of Pitchcroft at Croft Road.
There isn't usually any on the Sabrina Bridge and I hate to think of the amount of rubbish that perhaps gets thrown into the river! Perhaps if there was a large bin at the Croft Road end and one immediately before Sabrina Bridge they might get used.
It would be nice if this matter could be sorted.
