POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was found lying in the street with "serious" stab injuries.
Neighbours, who had heard shouting minutes before, raised the alarm after making the discovery.
Officers and ambulance crews were scrambled to Leckhampton Close in Warndon, Worcester, at 10pm on Saturday. The man was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for emergency treatment.
This morning, the victim's injuries were described as serious, but not believed to be life-threatening.
Another man was later arrested at the hospital on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
He was questioned before being released on police bail pending further enquiries.
