STOURPORT Swifts swept aside visitors Rocester with a display that had manager Dave Titterton looking forward to the new season.
"We are going to finish the season on a high and take that confidence into next season," the Walshes Meadow boss said after he watched his side romp to a home 5-0 in the Dr Martens Western Division.
He added: "We have a lot more players in form at the moment and have a number of influential players back in the side."
Richard Ball gave Swifts the perfect start with a goal in the opening minute, slotting the ball past visiting keeper Phil McGing.
Simon Marsh doubled the lead midway through the second half but the home side had to wait until the final five minutes before putting the result beyond doubt.
Rocester had Steve Oldacre sent off and Swifts made their extra man count with substitute Steve Hawkes hitting a third on his debut before Ball completed his hat-trick with a double in the final three minutes.
Ball was on trial with Nationwide Conference side Yeovil Town earlier in the season and his manager bel-ieves the striker can go all the way.
