BASKETBALL players from the Worcester Wolves suffered a double blow on Saturday, losing both their match and money after thieves broke into the changing rooms.
Credit cards, mobile phones and cash were stolen in a first-half raid, after the Wolves had made the long journey up to Hull Icebergs.
Coach Rick Solvason said the theft of hundreds of pounds of cash had really rubbed salt into the players' wounds, after they crashed out 89-78 in the National Division One game.
"It's never fun travelling back from Hull and this just made it a real nightmare."
Although the door was open at half-time the team, apart from director of operations Mick Donovan, had not realised it had been forced open.
