A Stourport-on-Severn man who took part in a burglary at the home of a sailor serving in the Gulf has been ordered to undergo drug treatment and testing.
Lee Sandford, aged 21, of Wiveldon Avenue, Wilden, admitted at Worcester Crown Court last month to breaking into the home of Steve Barnes, Gilgal, Stourport.
Mr Barnes sailed on the aircraft carrier Ark Royal.
Adam Western, defending, said Sandford had had a drug addiction but hoped to get rid of it through the drug treatment order.
