Drewe Broughton was in the right place at the right time to complete a stunning and unlikely Kidderminster Harriers come back tonight in an action-packed derby match.

Broughton has now got eight goals for the season and they won't come much easier than this double at Aggborough.

He swooped twice within six minutes during the second half after Harrier had made a terrible start, going two goals down inside the first quarter of an hour.

Harriers did look to be in a lot of trouble at that stage but gave some hope by creating a string of chances in the first period, all fired off target by John Melligan or primly And Bishop.

Peter Wilding in the seventh minute and Luke Rodgers in the 15th minute gave Harriers a mountain to climb.

They did not start the second half convincingly but a controversial incident on 57 minutes seemed to fire them up.

Referee Ray Olivier appeared to give a penalty and then change his mind and give Shrewsbury a free kick after consulting his assistant referee following a hand ball incident from Shilton's corner.

It was Brougton who was on the mark on 62 minutes and then the big forward pulled Harriers level not long after, both after excellent work by strike partner Bishop.

Broughton twice had efforts saved by the keeper and Danny Williams' drive was tipped over the bar by keeper Cartwright as Harriers piled on the pressure but the winner never arrived.
