A HOLLYWOOD producer who spent her early years in Redditch is in with a chance of winning one of the highest showbiz accolades this weekend.
Jacquie Barnbrook, 37, hopes to scoop an Oscar at the 75th annual Academy Awards on Sunday for short animation The ChubbChubbs after missing out on a BAFTA last month.
Now a producer with Sony Pictures Imageworks, Jacquie lived in Cherry Tree Walk with her mum, Janet, before they moved to Canada and then the USA.
Janet Barnbrook, nee Hatfull, a former Bridley Moor High School pupil, now lives in Las Vegas and runs a travel agency.
