A SPECIALLY trained drugs dog has been employed by Redditch police and will be taken to pubs and clubs around Redditch to sniff out any illegal substances.
Bruno has already made his first visit to a number of Redditch pubs including the Queens Arms, the Sportsmans Arms and The Rising Sun in the town centre.
The dog was also walked alongside a queue of revellers waiting to get into Time nightclub but did not identify anyone in possession of drugs.
One man wanted on warrant was arrested, another, who was in a town centre pub, was cautioned for the possession of amphetamine and a third man, who was in a Matchborough pub, was arrested for the possession of cannabis.
Insp Barnett said more operations using Bruno were being planned.
