BIRMINGHAM City Ladies chairman Steve Shipway says his side can be certain of staying up if they can bag five points from their last four games.
Speaking in the wake of a record-breaking third successive Birmingham County Cup win from his fledgling stars, Shipway said he was confident of beating the drop from the National Division.
And with back-to-back matches against a relegation-bound Brighton side Blues have already beaten 4-1 in the Cup this season, the chairman will want it wrapped up within a fortnight.
With fully-professional Fulham in imperious form this year, Blues are more likely to be looking at two points for survival and could all but end the uncertainty at their adopted Redditch United home on Sunday (ko 2pm).
Left midfielder Jo Potter is out after twisting her knee while on England duty last week.
England under 19 star Katy Ward will want to make the most of what could be her final appearance before a lengthy ban after a sending off in Sunday's final.
Ward kicked out at an opponent in retaliation after being fouled to put a dampener on another successful day for the club, who beat Villa 3-0.
The teenage hotshot had lobbed a fine third goal to add to two predatory strikes from Eni Aluko (pictured, left) in a straightforward win.
Blues became the first side to lift the cup three times and Shipway is hoping the club's reserves, who have already won the reserve team cup, can lift the reserve division title to bring a third trophy home.
The club's five recent graduates to the England under 19s could be appearing for their country on home soil next month.
Hope Powell's youngsters face Eire at Bedford Town on Tuesday, April 15; Spain at Arlesey Town two days later and Denmark at Barton Rovers on Saturday, April 19 with the group winners qualifying for the 2003 European Championship finals in Germany in July and the best three runners-up from the four group tournaments joining them.
