HEADLESS Cross Ladies kept breathing down the neck of leaders Kidderminster with a 2-0 weekend win over Marconi.
Rob Auld's side are continuing to grind out the results to stay four points behind Kidderminster - who hammered Redditch 8-2 - in second place.
Cross visit Hereford Pegasus on Sunday (ko 2pm) and have to collect another three points while their title-rivals face a potentially tricky visit to third placed Fairfield Villa.
Headless Cross have an outstanding fixture against the leaders but know Kidderminster will have to drop points in at least one of their other four outstanding matches.
And the Cross manager has complained to West Midlands League officials after the leaders pulled out of a game against Ross, claiming they could not raise a side because of injuries.
Midfielder Elaine Frampton is doubtful with an ankle injury.
