UP to 50 jobs could be created if plans for a large storage and distribution warehouse in Nash Road, Park Farm, get the go-ahead.
And it looked like the firm, which distributes Christmas goods and is looking to locate part of its operation in Redditch, would get the green light at last night's planning committee meeting.
But there were concerns about the fate of a public footpath from the Ramblers Association.
The scheme is for a 10m high industrial-style building.
Landscaping would reduce the impact of the building on nearby Studley Road.
