WORCESTER City's bad luck with injuries continues with news that David Holmes is to see a specialist about his troublesome groin injury.
It's a massive blow for the 29-year-old who has been out since the 2-1 defeat at Stafford Rangers in early February.
Despite undergoing a rehabilitation programme the injury has failed to heal properly and the forward fears he could face surgery.
Holmes voiced his concerns about the state of his groin last week complaining there was no real improvement and after discussions with manager John Barton and physio Archie Richards agreed to seek specialist advice.
