THE Stilton-registered Parrot Print TAL Cycle Racing Team had two Worcester riders in action in the Jack Granger Memorial at Middleton, near Corby.
Steve Dring and Gav-in Poupart contested the 100km race on the traditional circuit, while Paul Dring cried off with flu.
On a warm day, the best field in the UK assembled for the Granger race.
As expected the fulltime Life Repair team dominated proceedings with Mark Lovatt winning a nine-man sprint just two seconds in front of a heaving 40 rider bunch.
Poupart finished an excellent 12th with Dring being placed 36th. The pace was frantic throughout and Dring was very nervous this being the race that caused havoc to his 2002 season when crashing on his face last year.
