BROMSGROVE MP Julie Kirkbride visited Redditch-based mental health charity Tripod on Friday to show her support for a bid for funding from Redditch and Bromsgrove Primary Care Trust.
Tripod manager Michelle Oliver said she contacted Ms Kirkbride to show Tripod's concern over a lack of commitment to funding from the PCT, even though a bid was made in September.
Ms Kirkbride was shown around the Seven Cooks Diner run by Tripod at Orchard Place Mental Health Resource Unit in Smallwood, which is in its third year.
And Redditch MP Jacqui Smith is set to sample the diner's culinary delights this Friday.
She added that the charity had also launched an appeal for a vehicle so cold buffets could be delivered to customers across Worcestershire.
Anyone who can help or for more details about Tripod, call Mrs Oliver on 488706.
