I'VE just been reading about the parents of an 11-year-old girl who removed her from a school in Cumbria because she was targeted by bullies due to her Brummie accent.
Bullying has always been around, but in the days when Britain was "Great", parents on observing their offspring's bloody nose, would enrol them in boxing or judo classes to learn self-defence.
Bullies are cowards with ugly faces - stand up to them and they shrink. Shrink away from them and they grow in ugliness and aggressiveness. The entire procedure of bullying and being bullied is called "survival."
The strength of a person's character is formed by overcoming adversitiy.
