COSMOPOLITAN youngsters at Stoke Prior First School spent last week learning about different countries and cultures.
The Ryefields Road school held the series of events, concentrating on the cultures of Pakistan, China and the Caribbean, to introduce the children to traditions and foods typical of each country. Teacher Lesley Shipman said: "We experienced many new things, including eating unusual foods, dressing in different clothes, learning new facts and trying different activities such as stick dancing and mendhi painting, all of which helped to give the children a flavour of different cultures."
