MUSICAL youngsters from Finstall First School were in their element when they enjoyed an exciting activity week.
One of the many highlights at the Carnforth Road School included a drum workshop led by expert Rod Smith, who taught the pupils how to play the Djembe drum. The workshop showed the children the importance of rhythm and teamwork.
The week also included a number of dance sessions, silk painting workshops and puppet making.
Reception teacher Alison Werrett said: "All the children in the school had a wonderful time. They particularly enjoyed taking part in the drum performance after the workshop with Rod Smith."
