PUPILS at a Rubery School got to grips with a some creepy crawlies as part of their National Science Week.
Students at Waseley Hills High School attended two lively talks on conservation and variety of life by Dudley Zoo educational officer Dr David Beeston.
He used a selection of reptiles, an African land snail, a giant cockroach and a chinchilla to illustrate the talks.
Head of science, Karen Wells said: "The students came away with much to think about and they very much enjoyed having the opportunity to touch the creatures.
"Some students even gave up their lunch break to hear Dr Beeston."
