A CLUB which started in Beoley in 1978 with just 35 members has celebrated its 25th anniversary with 100 members enjoying the evening's fun.
Beoley Good Companions started as a way in which senior citizens from the village and surrounding areas could meet for a wide range of social activities.
Members regularly converge on Beoley Village Hall for social events but also organise numerous trips to interesting places arrange holidays away each year.
To celebrate its silver jubilee, the group held an evening of fun and frivolity along with some American-style food in the village hall for all its members.
