MATTHEW Kelly and George Costigan will come to Malvern Theatres at the end of the month with their touring production, Of Mice And Men.
The epic tale of survival, hope and friendship, set against the backdrop of America's Great Depression, features Lennie and George, two friends trying to fulfil their ambition and buy their own farm.
The two friends soon discover the flipside to their dreams and the relationship is tested to the limit.
The production, which premiered at the Birmingham Rep, re-creates 1930s California with a riverside, water tower and haystacks on stage.
Matthew Kelly, best known for Stars in their Eyes, has numerous theatre credits to his name, including the Royal National Theatre's touring production of The Pied Piper and Funny Peculiar in the West End.
George Costigan, recently seen as Brian in BBC comedy Linda Green, starred as Bob in the ground-breaking film Rita, Sue and Bob Too and appeared on stage as Mickey in the original production of Blood Brothers.
Of Mice and Men runs in the Festival Theatre from Monday, March 31 to Saturday, April 5.
Tickets priced between £10 and £18 are available from the box office on 01684 892277.
