LINDA Smith, crowned BBC Radio 4's Wittiest Person, is coming to Cheltenham's Everyman theatre.
Smith, described as 'excellent' by The Times, is one of the sharpest comics around. She wrote and performed her own sit-com for Radio 4 called Linda Smith's A brief history of wasting time.
The comic was the first woman team captain on Radio 4's News Quiz. Smith has been a panel guest on Just a minute and Sorry I haven't a clue. She has also appeared on Have I got news for you and They think it's all over.
Smith's show blends politics with silliness and topical subjects with personal anecdotes. It promises to be a night of first-rate stand-up comedy. Tickets cost between £10-£12. For more information call the box office on 01242 572573.
