THE 400th anniversary year of Queen Elizabeth I's death will be marked by a performance of Twelfth Night at Charlecote Park near Stratford.
Generator from Warwick's Playbox Theatre is performing the play, which may have been commissioned by the Queen, at the historic National Trust property at 7.30pm on April 23, Shakespeare's Birthday.
The company will also be performing A Midsummer Night's Dream at King Edward VI School in Stratford at 7.30pm on Tuesday, May 6 as part of the school's 450th anniversary celebrations. Tickets for Twelfth Night at Charlecote Park cost £19.50, including a glass of wine , and can be booked by calling 01789 470277. Tickets for A Midsummer's Night Dream cost £5, including a cream tea, and are on sale from KES from the end of March, preferably in person or by post.
