HOCKEY: A first-half effort was disallowed as Kidderminster went on to fall 3-0 to DTZ League Midlands One relegation rivals Old Halesonians.
The town had their chances and thought they had scored through Gary Burkes but it was not given in a goal-less first half.
Hard work from Burkes, Chris Pocknall and Neil Jackson in defence prevented Old Hales scoring more than three goals.

A late winner denied the fourths in a friendly with higher-ranked Barford.
The visitors took the lead following a slow start from a well-worked penalty corner.
Kidderminster took the game to Barford but conceded a second from another penalty corner.
Phil Williams pulled one back just before the break from a penalty corner.
Barford continued to play neat hockey but Kidderminster's defence held firm until a wonderful dribble from their forward increased the lead.
The town struck back with two Martin Jeans goals to level but the game boiled over with Barford having one player sin binned though they still struck a late clincher.

Despite playing well for the first 25 minutes, Kidderminster were three goals down by half-time.
Sustained pressure saw the home side score a further five in the second half.
But young Scott Edwards had an excellent game for Kidderminster.
