ATHLETICS: Kidderminster and Stourport's young stars Marc Roberts and Aiden Dourneen helped Herefordshire and Worcestershire junior boys to a national victory.
They recorded the triumph at the English Schools Athletic Association's National Cross Country Championships.
Roberts came 19th and Dourneen 192nd in the event, held at Stanmer Park, Sussex.
Adam Grainger was 172nd in the intermediate boys' category and Matt Granger was 82nd in the senior boys.
Eleanor Laverty finished 209th for the junior girls, while Fay Kitchen (41st), Alison Young (68th) and Elizabeth Dourneen (74th) ran for the intermediate team.
