A "FANTASTIC" charity ball attracted almost 170 guests and raised about £1,200 for two district charities.
The annual event at the town's Civic Centre was held earlier this month in aid of Stourport mayor Don Giles' nominated causes, Kemp Hospice and Wyre Forest Citizen's Advice Bureau.
Businesses contributed prizes for the raffle and tombola, while pupils at Stourport High School made a model of the world's first plane which was suspended from the ceiling at the flight-themed bash.
Mr Giles said: "I'm so grateful for shops in what is not in an easy trading situation in Stourport."
