HAVING seen your website I can't help but make comparisons between Ipswich in Queensland and Kidderminster.
Less than 10 years ago Ipswich's population was about 65,000. Now it is 136, 000.
Ipswich lost most of its industry in the 70s and 80s when the woollen mills closed. It is only now that is coming back as it is close to Brisbane and land is
cheaper and it is on a main rail line.
It wouldn't have the shopping facilities of Kidderminster but we get by.
There are eight cinemas - three years ago there was only one - and there are lots of clubs with reasonably priced meals.
