WELL said L Steadman (Shuttle/Times & News Letters, March 6), Linden Avenue should be designed as a traffic relief road. After all, it is a public thoroughfare.
The residents appear to be against the motor car - have they given up driving their cars?
The time and money spent on this one road by our local councillors is a disgrace.
With Council Tax going up and up and services being cut, surely there are more important issues to be tackled?
