AN EXPERIMENTAL and youthful Chaddesley Corbett line-up failed to find any cohesion and slipped to a 5-1 home defeat to bottom club Ledbury Town Reserves.
Boss Martin Westcott blooded two 15-year-olds among seven players aged under 19 in their latest West Midlands League Division One South fixture.
But Westcott's plans were hit after only two minutes when Gavin Davies tore a hamstring and had to be replaced by Matt Baynton up front.
An unchallenged Zeki Koral headed Ledbury into the lead from a corner on four minutes and more slack defending let in Neil Gardner to beat keeper Mike Connelly on the quarter-hour mark.
Chaddesley gained some rhythm and Craig Pratt lobbed just past the post after being set free by Ade Billings.
But Ledbury made it 3-0 when Jamie James latched onto Ian Vogel's attempted clearance to slot the ball past Connelly.
Brian Burton replaced Keith Roberts at half-time and Chaddesley worked their way into the game with Richard Burton pulling a goal back direct from a corner on 53 minutes.
However, Chaddesley were caught out on 72 minutes with two strikers up against defender Steve Wainwright and Koral applied the final touch.
Ashley Jones completed the scoring with a far-post header though Chaddesley felt the ball had gone out of play.
All three of the villagers' defenders were injured in the last 20 minutes and only Connelly kept the score remotely respectable with outstanding saves, including a remarkable double save.
Vogel was voted man-of-the-match and Chaddesley players are asked to meet at Brintons for 1.30pm when they play Mahal on Saturday.
