I AM pleased that the few remaining Kidderminster buildings with historic value are earmarked for preservation.
Throughout the world the value of historically important buildings is being appreciated and stylish refurbishment can be achieved. I recall, with sadness, when I was a wee lad , those beautiful Tudor and Georgian buildings that were demolished in Swan Street and High Street.
So people of Kidderminster and surrounds please keep the pressure on your council to make sure there is a town of significance left for your children and grand children.
