A RECRUITMENT drive for health care assistants could create more than 40 new jobs in Wyre Forest.
Kidderminster's JobCentre is working with the NHS to find people who could work at the Lea Castle Centre, which provides specialist services to people with learning difficulties, or at community homes in Wyre Forest.
Training leading to NVQ level three qualifications in care will be given to successful applicants.
A recruitment day for the posts will be held at Kidderminster Jobcentre next Wednesday between 10am and 4pm.
Kim Jeavons, Kidderminster Jobcentre manager, said: "Recruitment managers from the NHS will be present on the day to host informal sessions to discuss the vacancies and chat about what the NHS has to offer.
"Anyone interested in a career in the NHS can pick up an application form on the day."
More information is available from Collete Addison at the Jobcentre on 01562 623800.
