RAY Turner should be thanked for the 20-plus years that he has worked for the people of Worcester.
While commending Coun Ray Turner in his opposition to war against the ordinary people of Iraq, the resignation does not come as a surprise.
It should be recognised that Coun Turner and others may not sit comfortably alongside certain Labour councillors.
