BARRY Norman CBE will be talking candidly about his life's work at The Roses, Tewkesbury, on Wednesday, March 26.
The veteran film critic shares his memorable encounters with the best and worst Hollywood has to offer. He candidly recollects meetings with favourite icons such as Laurence Olivier, Elizabeth Taylor and Anthony Hopkins. Norman also recounts a rather more unpleasant but no less entertaining encounter with John Wayne. The legendary Western star threatened to hit him when they met.
Barry Norman fronted the BBC film review programme for almost 30 years. He made a successful move to SKY where his reputation as the nation's most respected and well-known film buff remains in tact.
Tickets cost £14.50 or £13.50 for concessions. Call the box office on 01684 295074.
