THE Parents and Toddlers Group celebrated its first birthday on March 19. It has had an exciting and successful year and is now up to its maximum, and though numbers will now have to be limited for safety reasons, a waiting list is open. Enquiries can be answered by Jayne Allsopp on 635277.
There are still tickets to be had for the charity concert on Saturday, March 29, at 7.30pm in aid of SSAFA. Tarrington Brass will be under the direction of Lt Colonel Trevor Sharpe and the evening will be shared with A Touch of Wind, the local trio of clarinet players. Tickets from Neville Shorrick (633475), Gaynans and Son in The Homend or any hall committee member.
