SIMON Mayor and Hilary James, left, who are known for their dazzling musicianship and humour, will be playing Worcester's Huntingdon Hall on Thursday, April 3.
Hilary will be accompanying Simon on a wild and wacky range of instruments from giant mandobass to slimline semi-acoustic double bass, and guitar.
She has recorded three albums including a collection of Scottish, English and Irish folksongs.
She has also featured on Radio 4, Radio 3, Radio 2 and Classic fm, as well as stations from Los Angeles to Latvia.
Invitations
Simon started out as a guitarist and fiddler, but his current position as a top mandolinist and mandolin composer has led to an increasing number of invitations to play and teach at festivals and conventions.
He has most recently played at the Goderich Celtic Festival in Ontario, Canada.
Despite being a self-taught musician, he found himself at number 9 in the UK Classical Artists Chart in May 2000.
