POLICE are appealing to witnesses to an accident near the post office in Hanley Castle.
The accident took place at 6pm last Sunday when a Ford Transit van ended up partially in a field.
Police arrived to find the driver and two passengers out of the vehicle. It is not known whether any other vehicle was involved.
The driver of the van was arrested at the scene for drink driving and later charged with the offence. He is due to appear before Worcester Magistrates on Tuesday (March).
