TWO public meetings are being held in Malvern about proposed health service cutbacks.
South Worcestershire Primary Care Trust is proposing to cut a number of frontline medical services to deal with a £5.7 million budget deficit.
Among the proposals is to axe a sexual health clinic at Malvern Community Hospital, along with others in the county, to save some £12,000.
If the clinic is closed, patients will have to travel to Worcester, or get family planning services from GP surgeries.
Other services under threat include community occupational therapy and district nurses and social workers attached to GP practices.
The meetings take place at the Elgar Suite, Abbey Hotel, on Wednesday (March 26), at noon and 6.30pm. All are welcome.
