I HAVE put my thoughts about the lack of cash to build a hospital in Malvern in verse form.

Isn't it funny that there's suddenly no money,

For our hospital under the Hills.

But new millions are poured in now there is a war in

The offing to save America's oil.

But bullets don't care just what they lay bare,

Be it muscle or sinew or bone.

So those who are serving are surely deserving

Good hospitals for when they come home.

Now it's not funny that there's no longer the money

For hospitals.
