A GROUP of tame owls proved a big draw at two Farmers' Markets.
The Baroness Sasa Von Barth Und Kippenruer brought along several owls to markets in Malvern and Longdon on Saturday and Sunday.
She said the birds proved a big hit as unlike most birds of prey they were tame enough to be handled.
Among the birds the baroness brought from her owl and parrot rescue centre in Herefordshire were Khan, an eagle owl, and Nelson, a tawny owl who had only one wing.
The baroness said she would be returning to Longdon Farmers' Market on April 20.
Janet Yates, co-ordinator for Farmers' Markets in Worcestershire, said the owls had helped attract more people to the markets, especially families.
